Overview

Coaches create triathlon, running, or other endurance sports training plans for your athletes using FastTrak. Drag and drop workouts onto the Planner for your athlete, publish the week, and your athlete receives an email with the workouts. The athlete updates the workouts on the Planner with actual data. View the updates on the Planner – just hover over the workout or click to view more details.

Edit Day

  • Edit workout from Planner and see all workouts for the day.
  • Add workouts from Library or previous workout via drag & drop.
  • Navigate to previous or next day from Day Edit without returning to Planner.
  • Convenient copy of Planned Time and Distance to Actual for the athlete.
  • User friendly time input – i.e., enter time of “90” and converted to “1:30:00”.
  • Convert Planned and Actual distance between US and Metric units with click of a button.
  • Races and brick workouts are added to the Planner like any other workout type.
  • Races and bricks track time, distance and gear by workout type; I.e., each leg is tracked separately. Therefore, in the Planner Weekly Summary for an Ironman race 2.4 miles is recorded to the swim, 112 miles to the bike, and 26.2 miles to the run. Also the shoes will track only 26.2 miles associated with the run.
  • Choose Brick workout combinations: bike/run, bike/swim, run/bike, run/swim, swim/bike, and swim/run.

Chart

  • FastTrak supports Garmin synchronization, once activated your workouts will automatically update on your FastTrak Planner. For all other device types, there is an easy manual upload of FIT file formats. More device type synchronization will be available in the future.
  • Summary section displays overall time & distance, average and max for power, HR, cadence and speed.
  • Hover over the graphs to view discrete values.
  • If HR zones are defined in FastTrak, then percentage of time in each zone is displayed.
  • For bike files with power - average, normalized and critical power are displayed. If power zones are defined in FastTrak, then percentage of time in each zone is displayed. Finally, there is quadrant analysis along with HR and Cadence histograms.
  • Lap data and maps are stored with the chart file.
  • Lap data is also stored with the workout details for quick viewing from the Planner without having to open the chart.

Athletes

  • Invite athletes and when they complete the registration will appear in the Athlete Selector.
  • Athlete Selector provides overview week’s progress, Next Race Date, Last Payment Received, Next Bill Date, Latest Plan Publish Week, email options, and T-Pace info.
  • Coach can update athlete profile, training zones, T-Pace, email options, and billing notices.
  • Options allows athletes to receive daily workout emails and send & receive workouts when coach or athlete updates a workout.
  • Inactive athletes appear on bottom of list and are removed from Planner list.

Billing

  • Coaches can create automatic monthly or one-time bills to bill the athlete from within FastTrak.
  • Click billing transaction to update bill and mark as paid.
  • Overdue bills prevent athlete access to FastTrak.
  • Contact FastTrak to enable athletes to make payment from within FastTrak with coach online payment processing vendor.

  • Add frequently used workouts to Library.
  • Convenient filtering of workouts by Type, Classification, Name, Time or Distance.

Library Plans

  • Coaches can create generic triathlon, run, or cycling training plans. This can be for various distance races such as a 5K to Marathon run plan, or a sprint to full Ironman distance triathlon plan. Plans can be designed for beginner to advance athletes.
  • To create a Plan, click the Library tab and then click Plans on the left-side panel. Next click the New button, enter the Name and Description, and click Save.
  • To change the Name or Description of the Plan, click Plans and select the plan, then click the Edit button.
  • Newly created plans will appear in the Plans panel. Drag and drop workouts from the right-side panel onto the calendar planner for the Plan and edit as desired.
  • To add a Plan to an athlete, click the Planner tab, select your athlete, then click the Week Summary header for the week in which you want the Plan to begin, and click the Add Plan option. Select the Plan from the Plan list pop-up window, and the Planner will display all workouts for all weeks according to the Plan. Publish the week(s) for the athlete to view the workouts associated with the Plan.

Reports

  • Three main report types: Workout Search, ATP, and Race.
  • Display bar or line graph by Time or Distance.
  • Search by Workout Type, Classification, Time, Distance, and/or Date Range.
  • Click the workout in the row of results to Edit/View details and return to report.
  • After running report, select another athlete to see same report without duplicating search criteria.
  • ATP shows summary of Run, Bike, Swim for the week either by time or distance.
  • Race reports can be filtered by race type and click result row to Edit/View.
  • Export workouts – all or selected ones based on filter criteria.

Pricing

  • 14 day free trial
  • Coach pricing is as follows:
    • No initial start-up fees.
    • $3/month per billable athlete.
    • $9/month minimum fee.
    • $29/month maximum fee (for up to 100 athletes).
    • Contact us for accounts greater than 100 athletes.
    • Complementary self-athlete account for coaches with at least one billable athlete.
    • Only billable athletes are included in the pricing. A billable athlete is an athlete that has at least one workout for the billed month. Therefore, no need to inactivate athletes with no activity.
    • If there is no activity for any of the coached athletes and the self athlete account for the billed month, there is no charge to the coach.
  • Pricing examples:
    • Coach and 1 to 3 billable athlete = $9/month.
    • Coach (and workouts on self-athlete) and 0 billable athletes = $9/month.
    • Coach and 4 billable athletes = $12/month.
    • Coach and 9 billable athletes = $27/month.
    • Coach and 10 billable athletes = $29/month.
    • Coach and 100 billable athletes = $29/month.
